Your reach and engagement are down across the board (and all platforms).

Content that manages to go viral (or ends up on the ‘for you’ page) just isn’t converting.

You’re starting to wonder if Substack could help you monetize your endless content creation.

It makes sense because, historically, most new technology or platforms simply meant we needed to shift where we post our content, what types of content we create, and which visibility and marketing tactics we use to have the highest conversion rate, turning our audiences into clients and customers. This is also why most people believe that AI is just a new productivity or delivery tool, and that platform success hinges on some secret strategy that we just haven’t implemented yet.

The reality is that the majority of bizfluencers, self-proclaimed futurists, and marketing ‘gurus’ are completely missing the mark on what’s actually shifting right now because their lens has become too narrow.

It’s important to me that you know the truth:

  • There is no next platform that will have the returns that early social media did.
  • There is no more business or marketing “as usual,” and there won’t be for a while.

We’re presently at a pivot point, and not enough purpose-driven thought leaders, entrepreneurs, and creatives are recognizing this, because we’re also standing at a bridge point where social media and platforms still feel productive (and the “right” content can even sometimes work).

But that’s the trap.

It’s our normalcy bias and the driving underlying desire for the ease of passive income from perfect posts and carefully crafted chatbots that social media once promised and provided.

All that said…

Rethinking visibility, authority, and influence in a post-algorithm world isn’t simply about adopting a new strategy or tactic; it’s about:

Operating from Forward Compatibility: Forward compatibility ensures that older systems (our businesses and bodies of work) can still function effectively with newer technologies and systemic shifts (such as the rise of AI, growing distrust and burnout among many online consumers, and significant economic and social shifts)—without failing. Most business owners have been taught to think through an incomplete and narrow lens, making it difficult to see what really needs to happen to thrive in the coming years and beyond.

Developing True Thought Leadership: Thought leadership is a term that’s thrown around a lot these days, but few understand what it means, let alone what it actually takes to become a thought leader in one’s industry. Thought leadership isn’t simply about sharing your thoughts with an audience, nor is it solely about being a wealth of information on your chosen topic or area of expertise. A thought leader is a person who leads the thinking around a given topic, industry, or conversation and whom others turn to for guidance.

Creating SEO Content Funnels: Search Engine Optimization acts as a cold referral system with a different kind of trust baked in (a very, very good kind). When well-designed and executed strategically, this system allows you to create and produce compelling content that grows in visibility, reach, and conversions over time, attracting more people. It’s a strategy for reaching your ideal clients and customers in their active search queries, rather than shouting at them on social media, when they’re likely not even actually engaged.

Most people try to jump into SEO content funnels because they’re focused on their bottom line. While you may get some initial traction following the process we teach, it’s very unlikely to last if you’re not also operating from forward compatibility and true thought leadership.

Forward compatibility helps us understand the broader systemic shifts that are leading us into the post-algorithm, post-attention economy world.

Whatever your body of work, your audience and industry are already being impacted by these broader shifts. The sooner you incorporate that reality, awareness, and understanding into what you talk about (and how you talk about it), the more people will turn to your ideas and authority to navigate the changes. Your ideal audience and your peers, colleagues, and industry.

Stephenie's presentation awoke a realization in the audience, and in me, about entrepreneurship as women that we often don't immediately notice. There are systemic practices at play that are quietly, but actively, diluting our voice, reach, impact, and success. The same systems we rely on to build our presence are the ones limiting it. Stephenie gave actionable, easily digestible expertise and insights that we can all implement today to start combating that. She was a valuable, vibrant, and knowledgeable guest whose presentation truly helped my community, and that's what I care about most.

Walk through the process of building an appreciation-based marketing plan and create the impact you desire!

Hi, I'm Stephenie Zamora!

Since 2010, I’ve had the honor of supporting amazing individuals like you in building profitable Channels for Change around their purpose. Many started with just an inkling of what they were called toward, and no clue where to even begin building something worthwhile, profitable, fulfilling, or marketable.

My life took me through a series of disorienting experiences and seasons of struggle that brought me to my knees, teaching me more about healing and finding wholeness than I ever wanted to know, and evolving my body of work in the process.

I'm passionate about supporting individuals in launching and growing Channels for Change—be that a brand, business, podcast, self-published book, or video series.

I have over 20 years of award-winning experience in print/website design and brand strategy, including 14 years of experience with online marketing, SEO, and frontend development work. I've led rebranding projects for one of the largest hospital chains in the United States and one of the top health-focused nonprofits in Colorado. I've also been integral to print and website projects for some of the most innovative and notable universities and assisted with several large household-name branding campaigns.

I love the power of the internet and its ability to transform lives globally. I see business as a tool for collective change, and it's my mission to elevate the next generation of thought leaders rooted in purpose (especially those voices who have been historically excluded and underrecognized).
